This is our second stay at this peaceful, small hotel close to the Arc de Triumph. The staff is wonderful and very helpful to English speaking guests who have minimal command of French. Our favorite room has a small terrace where you can enjoy a partial view of the Eiffel Tower. It is especially lovely at night when the Tower sparkles on the hour. The rooms have been refurbished since our last visit and, while small, are beautiful, completely up to date and very comfortable. Compared to other Paris hotels, Residence Foch prices are very reasonable. We are dedicated Metro users while in Paris and find the hotel is convenient to three Metro stops and multiple Metro and RER lines including the main Metro line that stops at most major central Paris hi-lights. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast offered guests. This visit we discovered a Michelin starred restaurant around the corner from the hotel so had a magnificent dinner on the last night of our stay literally steps from the hotel. I look forward to returning to Hotel Residence Foch.

The staff were amazing! I wish I could say more but honestly so friendly, helpful and attentive! Location was great, 30 mins for Gard Du Nord by car, short walk to Metro station (EUR8 day travel pass) and even a nice walk to some key tourist attractions. When getting around by car use the Uber app. To those travelling via Eurostar we got a taxi to / from Gard Du Nord and it should cost no more than EUR30 one way. We unfortunately were caught in tourist trap on arrival offering a “bargain” fixed rate, you live and learn. When jumping in a cab, always request on the meter. It’s a lovely quaint hotel which does have lots of quirks (little lift/elevator large enough for two) which many have complained about but there are stairs …. Our room was nice and tidy with lovely Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable even though it was two singles pushed together. We both slept well although for light sleepers earplugs may help with some of the outside noise (although it was minimalistic).

Breakfast was perfect! We enjoyed every bite of freshly baked baguettes and croissants. The cheese of 3-4 different kinds were delicious! Fresh juice of 3 kinds, natural yogurt of 3-4 kinds, cereals and musli, dried fruit, fruit salad - everything was fresh and daily renewed. Special thanks for our cooked eggs. We could have scramble eggs, sunny up eggs, boiled eggs and omelettes. The stuff was very kind to us! Bader, Alexandra, Reduane were so helpful in ordering taxi, finding best deals with car rental, money exchange, etc. The location is top! Arc de Triumph and Champs Elysees just 10 minutes walk. 3 metro/RER stations nearby. It was very easy to get to Monmartre, Louvre, Notre Dame. Trocadero square with the best view on the Eiffel Tower is 20 minutes walk in a pleasant neibourhood of Victor Hugo square.

The area of the hotel is quite and fancy, 2 minutes walk there is a mini market, 3 minutes walk u can find scooter and bike parking where u can rent it, 6 minutes walk the metro station, all these transportations could use to go to champs elyse road which is 12 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is so cozy and comfortable and clean. The room is clean and enough space for the 2 persons, u can open the window. The bathroom is good it had a hanger to dry up ur towel or wet clothes. We were staying in first floor which I used to go up by stairs but of course they have an elevator

The front desk receptionist was very welcoming when we arrived and had our room ready. We stayed for 10 nights and our stay was very comfortable all throughout. The rooms are very clean. The area is quiet and a 10 mins walk to Arc de Triumph, the metro is also close by and about 5 mins walk. It is also safe if you are walking back late at night. Everyone who worked there was always nice and responsive to questions. Thank you for making our trip to Paris smooth and for accommodating us. We will be booking here if we are back in your beautiful city 😊
